STEEPLE

STEEPLE is a grid for analysing the environment with seven fields: social, technological, economic, environmental, political, legal, ethical. It makes sure research doesn't forget a dimension. The drivers found later become the material for scenarios. This family of grids goes back to Francis Aguilar's “Scanning the Business Environment” from 1967.

Jonas Drechsel uses STEEPLE as a starting point in research projects.
